When my daughter was born in 2022, I knew it was time for a career that actually made a difference - one that aligned with my passion for personal finance and property, and gave me the chance to help real people make smarter choices.

But this journey started long before then. I bought my first home at 22. Overwhelmed, unsure of what was even possible, and feeling like I was completely winging it. I was lucky to have a great broker beside me, guiding me through every step, explaining the government schemes I could access, and making the process feel doable. That experience stuck with me, and when the time came to make a career change, I knew this was the kind of help I wanted to give others.

I started in a boutique Sydney brokerage, working under an experienced broker who specialised in high-end clients, complex lending, and strategic portfolio building. That training gave me the foundation to handle a wide range of scenarios — from first home buyers to property investors — and understand how to structure finance to set people up for the long term.

In 2023, I purchased my first investment property, knowing the importance of building wealth outside your primary residence. I’ve since sold that property which has allowed me to launch Anarchy Finance.

The name Anarchy originally came from my wife’s business, Floral Anarchy, but it stuck because it represents what I’m here to do: break away from the boring, jargon-filled, one-size-fits-all broker experience. I’m here to simplify, guide, and genuinely help people, especially first home buyers, feel confident and supported in what’s usually a really stressful time.
